LOPCI has made a tremendous difference to me…without Lisa and the entire staff, I don’t know what I would have done with my one year old Golden Rescue. I was shocked when I brought my extremely energetic Max home from DVGRR (Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue), and he was completely out of control and basically had zero manners. I’ve had dogs before, and really thought I could work with him, but he continued to literally eat my house, dominate me in any way he could (even when trying to walk on the leash), and really had so many bad habits that I can’t even list. I’m sure when I brought him to training that first night, everyone thought we were a lost cause. We couldn’t even sit in the chairs and listen to Lisa. I was determined to do my best with Max, but wasn’t sure what would happen. I called DVGRR numerous times to discuss Max and his behavior and they were almost certain he would be returned. Thank goodness I met Lisa and started with the much needed training that Max NEVER had. Lisa also suggested daycare for Max to rid him of some of that pent up energy. I never saw a dog quite like him before…and am so glad that he is such a good boy now with the help of LOPCI…especially since he chose me at the Golden “meet and greet day”. I saw him, and he gave me a big kiss…something the volunteers said he didn’t normally do. 🙂 I love my boy! Thank you to Lisa and the entire staff at LOPCI! Oh, I almost forgot, Max just had a really cool summer cut by the terrific groomer at LOPCI! Now he’s even COOLER…LOL! I should also mention my other puppy…another rescue. Her name is 99, but this time, I decided to adopt a baby. She’s an angel, and has successfully completed puppy training at LOPCI. She’ll be going on to additional classes, as will Max. The two of them are destined to be therapy dogs someday, and provide some much needed smiles and happiness. In the meantime, they both enjoy daycare at LOPCI with all of their human and doggie friends! 🙂
Thanks to Lisa and the rest of the team at Leader of the Pack, I am so much more knowledgeable of what it means to be pack leader and have a healthy relationship with Zoey my Bullmastiff. The information that both Zoey and I learned was very valuable and will last a lifetime! Thanks from Christy and Zoey 🙂
Lisa and her team of trainers have given me so many tools and gifts of knowledge for handling my dog. Because of them my dog is more balanced and I am more confident. Lisa and her team are caring, warm, friendly and patient. Lisa is incredibly hard working and dedicated. Her center has the best prices around for the services they offer. I plan to continue my relationship with LOPCI to give my dog the best life can offer and that I can progress with my own leadership skills. Keep up the good work guys!
I would like to thank Lisa and the rest of the staff for their help in training Allie and more importantly training me to be a pack leader. Your tips in training were such a big help in solving Allie’s issues with stormgrates. The dog adult education class was worth every penny!!! I would recommend everyone to enroll at Leader of the Pack Canine Institute. Thanks so much! Tammy and Allie
Walter and I (I say that because I learned that it is not just our dog we are training, but that of ourselves)trained with Lisa elsewhere prior to her opening her business. When she made her move, there was no question in our mind who we wanted to follow. Lisa has taught us how to get so much more out of the love both dog and owner should share. Lisa and staff know how to extend that love the minute you walk through their door. Your dog is not just a “number” … your dog means something to them. Would recommned no other place, other than here.
Our one year old yellow labrador “Nilla” is a spirited girl with lots of energy. She loves “daycare” so much we can’t even mention the name in front of her and she barks and gets all wound up…spelling it is the only option. We’ve boarded her there on several occations too and I’ve always had piece-of-mind knowing she is in the best hands and having fun at the same time. It’s great to be able to view them on the webcam…in facts its enjoyable for me too. I would highly recommend LOPCI for any of your canine needs from boarding to grooming, you can rest assured your beloved pet is in the best hands! Best of all your pet will be satisfied and tired out after a day/night at Leader of the Pack.
Lisa and her staff are fantastic. She was just the type of trainer I was looking for after I adopted my Pit Bull puppy Junior. Thanks to her help I have a well behaved, fun and socialized dog. Junior absolutely loves daycare and is a happy, exhausted pup when he gets home. You will not be disappointed with LOPCI.
LOPCI is simply fantastic! Lisa and the staff really care about what they do and care about their clients. The facility is very clean and the staff is very dedicated. All their services are excellent and they are always willing to go the extra mile with all they do. The play, interaction with other dogs and exercise that Dexter gets when he spends time there is awesome! A tired dog is a well-behaved and happy dog! Dexter is always a happy dog when he comes home from spending time at Leader of The Pack. Thanks for all you do!
I have known Lisa for many years, and when she decided to get into this line of work, I thought she would be wonderful at it and she is. I bring both my dogs to her doggy daycare and for grooming, they just love it there. Also brought my more stubborn dog to her adult dog obedience class, she is just wonderful with all the dogs and her training and patience is outstanding, this was the best class for my dog and he is so much better. I recommend Lisa to everyone out there.
Over the two years we owned our dog being in two different locations we’ve tried three other day cares and I feel blessed to live close enough for him to come to leader of the pack. I will mention none of the other places names but had not near the knowledge or care for dogs that Lisa does plus the cleanliness off the facility beats all others hands down. There’s a great staff there and we had him groomed by Amber. Not only did he look awesome I swear you could smell the shampoo for 2 weeks. I hope leo has to never go anywhere else for any reason. I also forgot to mention he’s just completing the adult basic training class which taught me very much and worked wonders on my dog so all around best place in lehigh valley
