Our dog day care is now open on Saturday AND Sunday for your convenience. Our hours for day care are 9am-3pm on weekends. Monday thru Friday day care hours will remain the same, 7AM-7PM.

Leader of the Pack Canine Institute located in Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania is a full service canine care facility, offering free play dog day care, all levels of dog training classes and rehabilitation, cage free or crated overnight boarding, and grooming. We are located in Allentown, PA, in the heart of the Lehigh Valley.

At LOPCI, we understand that dogs are social animals. They are not meant to be kept in solitude and prefer to be with their pack, or human family. We also understand that a canine's learning capacity goes far deeper than what the average pet owner understands. Because of this need for socialization, stimulation and the desire to learn, if a dog's needs and instincts are not satisfied, behavioral issues and problems may develop over time.

Our goal is to educate families and pet parents on how to be their dog's pack leader. During our six week group dog training classes, we teach you how to train your dog. Our dog training classes are personalized so that each family member receives one on-one hands on instruction from our dog trainer. We show the pet family how to present the calm, assertive energy that each pet needs to consistenly receive from their handler. Then, the dog can be in a balanced and relaxed state of mind. Now that's a happy dog!

We offer puppy classes, adult dog basic training classes, intermediate obedience classes, advanced obedience classes, AKC Canine Good Citizens Classes and certification, and therapy dog classes. In addition to a well trained dog being a happy dog, a tired dog is a happy dog. Let our doggie day care program challenge your pet's physical, mental and emotional needs. Your pet can play all day off leash in our 5,000 sq ft indoor facility and in our additional 3,600 sq ft outdoor play area. You can watch your pet play and interact by logging onto our webcam system. This allows you to keep in touch with your pet while he is attending dog day care.

Overnight boarding is offered for families who need to leave their pet on extended stays with us. We offer private cage free rooms or for pets that are used to being crated, we can secure your pet in an overnight crate. We offer much more than your average "kennel". At Leader of the Pack Canine Institute, we treat our overnight guests like VIP's (very important pet) during their stay with us.

Pamper your pet in our grooming salon with one of our spa packages. Our professional, experienced and licensed groomer accepts all breeds and sizes.
